Our happy slappy honeymoon

I am sooooo excited to share to you our adventures in Miami last year! Our honeymoon was awesome. First of all, we want to thank our awesome church friends and everybody that got involved to make this honeymoon really sweet. We're so blessed! It's been almost a year but the sweet memory felt like it happened so FAST. So here we go! And woah! Tomorrow is our heart day and I'm too excited to share what we're gonna do. Right now, we're really in a tight budget but I thought of something really practical and at the same time FUN! I'm too anxious but I cannot spill the milk yet! So for now please have a happy clappy reading/viewing.

I have a lot to show! But since I found this memory card first, I prefer to share my stuff backwards hahah yes! I'm a very random person. When we woke up, we found this awesome treat at the lobby! Dried banana with random nuts and such! I wanted to take them with me! ALL OF IT! I'm not making this up, but these little snacks are so happilicious! By the way, CONRAD HOTEL is beautiful! I love the people! I love their service! It's always clean! It's just very expensive haha

When I saw this particular picture, I remembered the taste of it haha I am not KIDDING! I almost forgot to mention that I used my Nikon D5000 and I can't believe how this little dude can make awesome stories!

I believe this was our second day at miami. And my husband and I decided to explore but of course before that, we ate first and oh my! The thai restaurant we went to was really YUMMILISH! The thai tea was amazing too!

Sorry about the angle! I was too hungry and was ready to eat! LOL

Oh my word! I cannot forget that day when this dude yelled at me saying "NO PICTURES! DIDN'T YOUR READ THE POST?" hahahah I just laughed at him i was like "Oh never heard of that?I hope you didn't steal them" That's why the angle was bad lol I was teasing him and he still got mad. Sometimes, It felt like America doesn't have freedom at all. I love this country but it's getting scary lately. Freedom of speech is being taken away then now freedom of taking pictures? hahaha Oh it was a gallon of GAS!

If this place is a food I'll be like, I'll eat them all! Why? cause it's so colorful!

Believe it or not, most of these goodies are from the philippines. Some are from bahamas.

These are from the philippines too. It made me miss it! I really want to go and visit! AND YES IT'S HAPPENING! I'M READY FOR IT! MY HUSBAND IS GOING WITH ME! SCREAMMMM!

Eeeeeeek! scary! I will not buy this one at all! LOOK AT THE PRICE? hahahah

Oh how i heart these colors! and aaah it's sooo beautiful!

Thanks to our awesome tripod! hahah

I told me husband, I wish we had a chance to have a date here :(

Since we can't, we just took a picture of us ...

A BIG SHOUT OUT TO MY HUSBAND! thank you for these pictures!

My Happy jumpy cutie husband!

Back to our hotel and was getting ready for our date night to see the view of miami!

I was like, i thought I was in NEW YORK!

My date was looking at the menu and we're like WOW the prices! haha

Googeling some stuff for our next trip.

This fish was screaming!

We didn't leave without tasting this yummy chocolate cake!

You've been Portraited Part II

2 days ago.. my husband dropped me off to hang out with my family. I told my sister, I brought my reflector & cam'ra haha And I commanded to take photos of her even just a portrait. I wanted to do it outside because of snow but she refused to have photoshoot outdoor. First of, I ate first haha I was starving.. then my sister tried to put my nephew to sleep but he won't! So his daddy took care of him for few minutes.

So my sister dressed up. Actually it was just perfect because they're going to church to rehearse. Then we had a fun session!

Meet my mum! She's a beauty! My plan was just to shoot my sister but then she requested if i can include her too because she needs new pictures. I was like, why not? You're my mum hahah it's free!

You've been portraited

Yes that word doesn't exist! But it does exist in my blog! Meet this little Mia. She's from my church. Oh yes she's everybody's favorite. I shoot a video for her dad at the park yesterday and I was still sick but good thing the weather wasn't bad at all. We picked up this little Mia at her school and she went with us and watched the promo video shooting. Oh A BIG shout out to Jonathan Rosa. Thank you for helping me! Ah! I should have took a picture of you guys! BOO me!!!!

Anyway.. after the photoshoot, I asked Mia if i can take a picture of her. At first she didn't want it but I asked her why she didn't like me very much. Yes goes "YES I DO!" I was like no you don't and she replied "I DO!" so i took advantage by saying "If you really do..let me take a picture you then" and she smiled saying "otey" hahahahah And here she is with her big smile!

I was teaching her some cute pose and I asked her to look down (her eyes only) and of course she's still a little girl and can't follow the instruction 100% but you know what? I decided, I'll keep this shot. And she looked so cute.

This is my favorite pose I asked her to do! She followed me very quickly and I enjoyed taking pictures of her. I only took 7 images and those two.. I scratched because it wasn't necessary to pick almost the same pose. So I deleted them two pictures. ISN'T SHE LOVELY?

You've been blogged

I posted a tutorial few days ago and finally I got one person that sent me her own picture using the tutorial I made. Woah! It really made my day! One person is more than enough.. I'm not famous anyway hahahah But I really appreciate Naomi. Oh please follow her art as well.. she's pretty talented! I love her style! She knows it!Her blog here: http://stef-naomi.blogspot.com/ She went to hongkong to shoot a wedding! She's been very bless lately! But oh.. it didn't start like that.. she had ups and downs too! I remembered when she sent me a message on facebook and shared how sad she was and frustrated about her business. She was sad because she thinks nobody wants to hire her. I told her to take her time. I shared to her what I'm believing. I said I believe that one day, someone will stick to what I love. I told her that I believe in her art . I'll add this up.. I also believe in her heart. Her heart loves God, and God knows her passion. Man, I just saw how opportunities started to come in. A magazine in australia featured her work, she get to shoot a wedding in hongkong? she get to shoot celebrities? WAIT that's not just opportunities! That's FAVOR!

Thank you my friend for letting me post this picture and for following the tutorial.. that's very humble of you! I pray that God will continue blessing you with more "FAVOR"

BLOGGERS! READERS! It's never too late! Email me your work/photograph and use my own recipe from this link

I will include you to my "You've been blogged" Thank you again readers! Hope to hear from you!

How to achieve this effect? It's very simple!

Add new fill layer then solid color.

Choose ff9d4e then hit ok.

The change the blending mode to screen.

Change the opacity to 42%.

Create adjustment layer and select selective color
Magenta + 47

Cyan -78
Magenta + 33
Yellow + 28

Cyan  + 46
Magenta - 2
Yellow + 43

Hold down command+option+shift at the same time then hit E Then resize your picture to what ever size you would prefer. Just simply go to IMAGE then image size then choose any size you want. I usually resize mine to

Tealand

Hello world! Another early/late blog! You know what I mean? Ah! this is such a bad habit! I need to change my blog time! But I'm sooo busy and couldn't do it! I had fun rehearsing with my worship team singers! But before they came, I took pictures of my favorite things! I just want to share some awesome tea idea set up!

I LOVE LOVE tea parties! That's why I came up with these DIY tea set up. As we go along, I will tell you my little secret. Ssssh! don't spill the milk yet. We will get there.

My set up is very simple and clean. I wanted it to look so fresh. When we went to Ikea, my husband was wondering where in the world I'm gonna put all the stuff I bought. He told my team about it too. And he was like " Oh now I see, that works!" haha He's too funny.

Here's where I got these goodies and how much they cost!

Sweet plate 1 - dollar store $1.25 each
Sweet plate 2 - dollar store $1.45 each
3 Small Candle stand - dollar store $1.25 each
Tea cup flower vase - dollar store $1.25 each
Pearl necklaces - dollar store $1.00 each
Gold spoon/fork - Cost mart - $1.99 each
Flower vase - salvation army - $0.50 each
Teapot flower vase - salvation army - $1.00 each
Frames - Ikea $1.99 each
Teacups - Ikea $0.25 each
Candle pink holder - $5.00
Chalkboard - Michaels $2.00
Birch Branch - Michaels $17.99
Carnation flowers - $2.00
Pink roses - $2.00

These pearl necklace are pretty! I went to the dollar store few blocks away from my flat and i was actually doing a last minute shopping. I believe it was before Christmas eve and it was raining! I was in line waiting to pay then I saw these pearl and I heard these necklaces screaming at me. I believe I purchased 20 pieces? Since they're only $1 each. NO i didn't buy it because I wanted to wear it! The reason why i purchased it because when i saw them goodies, I had a quick idea! My DIY brain popped!

I'm soooo impressed how this tea cup looked great when I used it as a flower vase. I know this idea is not unique anymore but putting a candle holder made it look unique!

These choco roll are SOOOoooOOOO ahhhhHH! addicting! It's sooooo good! I recommend these sweets! They smell good and taste so mmmlicious!

I hope you enjoyed our little adventure here! I cannot wait to share more ideas! Have a happy slappy clappy day!
